BEWARE external components
I HAVE used several of these switches over the years with 2 XP computers and an old Win98 to switch between 6 printers. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT UNTIL I RECENTLY BOUGHT A NEW COMPUTER WITH WINDOWS 7 PRO AND XP MODE INSTALLED. NOW I HAVE A LOT OF SECURITY. HERE'S THE BIG PROBLEM: NO UPDATES FOR WIN7 DRIVERS ARE AVAILABLE FROM BELKIN. PLACES OFFERING UPDATED DRIVERS FOR PAYMENT SCAM DO NOT CONTACT IT. IF YOU ARE USING WINXP THE SWITCHES SHOULD WORK OK BUT IF YOU ARE USING 7 OR 8 THINK TWICE.
