Updated Review: After years of regular use between kindergarten, garden play and the beach, these hats have held up well. They've withstood multiple washes without fading and won't stain with baby sunscreen. Our two little ones have these hats and after a day of getting used to them, they wear them without fuss and even occasionally as accessories. I would recommend 100x more. When I wash these hats, I wash them with baby clothes, then reshape them and lay them out to dry. And it's really beautiful. It was great from the park to the beach
