Review on 🎮 PDP Universal Media Remote for PlayStation 4 - Model 051-038-D1 by James Womble

Two remotes down, both versions of POMUS. Listen to the reviews that are actually published after a few months. These things are dying right and left. Others have reported the same issue and have been able to turn on the system and see if the remote is connected and the battery status. Stops talking after a few keystrokes. Resynchronizing with the system does nothing. The remote disables all Bluetooth functions for a few seconds after connecting, the PS4 still thinks the remote is connected, but the remote doesn't send any commands to the system. At least the first version lasted longer before collapsing. This is beyond disappointing as we use a Playstation Vue and the PS4 is running on the main TV in the living room. NO ONE wants to use a controller instead of a universal remote. Sony shouldn't have outsourced this to the PS4 PDP - the remote control is useless without functionality, and mine died just before the return window too.
