Over the years I've had some pretty significant scratches from our renters. Ordered to test before painting. Worked great. I've mostly used putty with a brush. You need to be a little artistic by blending and smoothing with a damp cloth and using two colors if your cabinets differ in color. I used handles on the edges and corners. It takes a full 24 hours to fully dry, so don't use a cloth or anything damp until then. Since the finishes of the cabinets are also worn, I use a spray to seal them. See photos before and after.
