It will fit a 4 inch vent, but you have to work at it.
Pro:1. Sturdy2. InexpensiveCons:1. Very difficult to install. You have to flatten out the wiring and the PVC lining. Then you have to wiggle it and pull it onto the vent. If you don't have much room in the back of your dryer, it will be a real chore. Also beware of of the wire of the vent hose, when you try to pull hose onto the metal vent, the end of the wire WILL puncture your finger. You will have to bend it backward to prevent this. I was going to give it a 2 star, but with this, it will end up as a 1 star for installation and 3 star overall.
- This is the first dry duct that I bought that hasn't shredded in a couple months. Happy so far.
- May not be easily repairable if damaged
