Keeps my cat from gulping her food
My cat after having dental surgery started to swallow her dry food whole instead of chewing it. Minutes after eating she would vomit all her food back up. Everything in her mouth had healed correctly and the vet recommended getting one of these style bowls to slow her down and "retrain" her to chew again. I've had the bowl for 2 weeks now, and she has not vomited since. Only issue with this bowl is the rubberized bottom does not prevent my cat from pushing it around. I have hardwood floors; the bowl may work better on a different surface?
