Of course I understand the concept of barefoot, but that's the Middle Ages. It's literally a leather bag with drawstrings and some rubber at the bottom. It's almost like an old-fashioned wrestling boot, only shorter. IMO it doesn't match the price; It's what you'd expect in the third world market, albeit with better workmanship. I can't imagine it lasting very long or offering much protection. I can't imagine it offering any sort of ventilation either. If that's what you want, great, go for it. I'll pass.
