Review on 📃 Efficient Scanning with the Plustek SmartOffice PS286 Plus Document Scanner by Tom Roberts

I've been using this A LOT for about a year. We would go about 3 months between heavy use (about 200 pages front/back). I bought it for the OCR and duplex capability. I was mostly happy although he never behaved as expected. I'm very tech savvy so I had no problem with that. If I hadn't, I doubt I would have been so happy. However, one day it just stopped scanning the back of my documents. I tried everything and then contacted support. Long story short, they didn't help at all and I still have a very expensive single-sided scanner/paperweight on my desk. I cannot recommend this scanner.
