Needed to connect my VHS player and my son's first Wii. Both required analog-to-digital conversion. I had an old version of the converter box that you connected with a coax cable, but I got very upset when we got a newer TV. I have a Revain FireTV. I connected this device and it worked great! No guesswork, no setup, just plug and play. The conversion lag is barely noticeable, but we haven't tried it in any game yet, so I hope it's not an issue. Otherwise it works great! So easy to use and the quality is great.
