I have changed my rating to 1 star after 1 year of use. The main reason is Canon support. First, none of our 3 scanners are recognized by any Mac TWAIN software, including the Mac's built-in scanning software. This is a known issue, but Canon doesn't address it as long as the CaptureOnTouch software is working properly. So if you want to use this with another application that has native TWAIN support, you won't see those scanners. Second, Mac OS High Sierra (10.13) DOES NOT WORK with these scanners. Canon doesn't have any updates and can't tell me when they will be. Brother, on the other hand, has already released software for all of their main products that are compatible with High Sierra! Guess what I'm going to order today. Eventually, after 8 months, the rubber parts wear out and he's trying to feed multiple pages at once. I bought an official Canon maintenance rubber kit and replaced the parts. but it still does. Obviously not intended for office use, can be used when traveling.
