Review on 🐠 Lominie LED Aquarium Light: Full Spectrum for Freshwater and Saltwater Tanks, Dimmable with WiFi Control and Adjustable Gooseneck by Angela Brooks

I bought this light a few years ago and I really like it. Even though it was hot he was very alert and well built. It really was the poor man's kettle. I finally decided to upgrade the rest of my flashlights and bought 2 more of these. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the new headlights. They are similar to the original light I have although there are some design changes. There are a few extra wire cutouts at the end of the clip which is a nice touch. The switch is now a dial to adjust the brightness that the original light lacked. Another obvious change is that the overall height of the lamp body is now smaller and the louvers are smaller. However, after turning on the light, I see that the brightness is far from that of the original, even with the dial set to maximum. Also, there is some light scattering around the case (check out the shadows on the wall in the picture - the middle one is original and doesn't have that). The light is also less white than the original; rather yellow. Unfortunately I don't have a way to measure the actual light output right now, but it's definitely not up to date based on the eyeball test. However, the light is pretty bright and I think it will work quite well too. I'm just disappointed in an inferior product after seeing the original.
