The ribbon on these items is rolled into a spiral rather than just a flat 'square' like most other pile rolls. This is completely stupid - the most inefficient design you could ever use. To peel off each layer you have to look for the small, pointy edge of the spiral and then hope it unwinds properly. Sometimes the layer peels off unevenly, or the second layer below it also peels off, leaving a half-used, half-fresh strip that is then even more difficult to remove properly. It collects lint quite well, but the design is just unnecessarily annoying.
