We were camping and the roads are not lit. I wanted something other than a reflective harness. That works great. I hung it on the top loop of my seat belt to keep it out of his eyes. We also have a huge yard. My dog has a black coat and blends in easily with the world around him. He likes to hunt deer, he always comes back, but it scares the hell out of me when he runs away. It's also pretty fun to see the light swinging in the dark.
