This was mentioned in another PS4 controller review but it's worth noting that before you buy, make sure you have an ORIGINAL PS4 controller . THIS WILL NOT WORK with newer model controllers (not to mention PS4 PRO where we are talking about off the shelf 2nd gen controllers bought off the shelf). There are some good resources for determining what type of controller you have (obviously I haven't used them as I bought them for a 2nd gen controller and was frustrated that I couldn't use them). Also note that I didn't deduct a star for my stupid mistake. It's up to me Although I couldn't put this on my 2nd gen controller, I still had a 1st gen controller so I swapped it out to test! The reason I'm giving this game 4 stars instead of 5 is because the buttons were very narrow. It might just be an imprint of my particular one (it can be affected by a variety of factors as they prepare), but the buttons (particularly the Share and Options buttons) were incredibly tight. I didn't mind as I also had a set of transparent/glow-in-the-dark buttons that I was planning to use with this shell, but if you're hoping to just use the transparent body/buttons you may need to get both of them one different key set or use some of the originals.
