Review on Xbox 360 Rock Band Midi PRO Adapter by Cee Pouncy

Good price, arrived quickly and definitely works as intended on my Yamaha dtx500 Electronic Kit and Rockband 3 on Xbox360. Out of the box it was pretty easy "plug and play", the only small change I had to make (using the dtx interface) was I had to change the midi note value for one of the cymbals in order to do that I had a working 'green' panel.. Pretty basic otherwise. So I'm giving this product 5 stars. Oddly enough, even though it arrived in sealed packaging, was it sticky? The rubber top surface was very sticky and exuded a very unpleasant lingering smell. 10 minutes of alcohol and cotton swabs didn't solve anything but it still smells a little bad and now the top part of the face looks really dry. But otherwise works great so will continue to use as intended. I wondering if this was due to the age of the product and how it was stored? who knows.
