These bits cut very well but I have learned that the protection is not enough to justify using bits on steel. After reading the reviews I put on goggles, a face shield, leather gloves, a welder's jacket, etc. These bits create millions of micro metal filings. I used the magnets around the cut and they were still in my gloves and all over the store. I ended up throwing away my leather gloves. The shavings are like hairs on a cactus - so small that some of them are barely visible. But you will definitely feel them on your own skin! From now on I will only use them on wood unless there is another way to work with steel.
