Optimum NR2010Q cleans well without rinsing; however, it does not have the smoothness/smoothness that Optimum Rinse and Wax provide. I prefer to use Optimum's Rinse and Wax for the final wash, but I've found using this product as a pre-cleaner to be VERY effective. I have bottled water from a well at home, but washing from a hose and bucket is a no-go. . I put together a simple car cleaning regime to keep my new SUV sparkling, especially in the winter, including using Optimum NR2010Q as a prewash/tarmac remover. I use a 2 gallon horticultural sprayer and mix it with Optimum NR2010Q. Distilled water is 2-3 times stronger. I spray my whole car with the soak mixture and let the layer of dirt break down for a few minutes. I then wash off the dirt/film with a Worx Hydroshot with distilled water - I use about 2-3 gallons of distilled water total. My SUV is absolutely lustrous after drying using this method and feels incredibly smooth and smooth.
