Item seemed good quality until I went to the trail. I took this on very soft terrain with little rough patches here and there without even driving 20 miles the mount bent and almost broke and I had to remove the antenna before it broke completely. I used a Firestik antenna, they aren't the biggest but they are light. I also originally installed a spring to absorb shock, but I could only see the mount flexing when driving in a parking lot, so I removed it. A simple cross brace on the underside of the top of the mount can solve this bracket bending or breaking problem.
