Exact replacement for the original hose

I was a bit concerned when I ordered it online that it might not fit. But it was an exact replacement for the old original hose for my 2001 VW Passat 1.8T. The price difference with OEM can only be pleased! We'll see how long it lasts, but since it has no moving parts I don't expect to ever have to replace this hose again.
