This is my third nanoglass foot file. The grip makes it my favorite so far. The other two fit in the palm of your hand like a computer mouse and were slippery; This grip is much easier to hold (although it's also annoyingly slick). The file interface works surprisingly well. It feels "sharp" but so far I haven't managed to hurt myself from it and I have very sensitive skin. It works better "wet". And really, all it means is rinsing it under the faucet; It only needs a thin film of water to be effective. It runs faster and smoother, wetter and less messy "foot powder". If it is not clear from the photos, the surface of the file is FLAT, not contoured. I didn't find any problem with it; it hugs the curved parts of my foot perfectly. I don't like the metal finish on this one, but the last two had the same finish so it seems like it's going to be hard to get off. Not only is the pen easier to grip, but it can be hung on a hook for storage or placed in a bowl on the sink like I've done along with other tools.
