Like other rasps, this rasp can be used wet or dry. has been removed and where do I have to go to cut the skin. I liked that it got the job done, but I really think it needs a longer grip. The curves of this rasp are nice but I use it as a rasp to remove dead skin, I need to hold it securely and be able to reach all points of my legs. Otherwise it is a good product and serves its purpose.

Much safer and therefore more effective than dangerous metal cheese files! It's possible to really damage the skin with metal files, but these seem literally safe if minimal care is taken. And best of all, it works great and keeps your skin intact too. I've struggled with calluses on my feet all my life and I can 'safely' use a metal file, but it takes skill and keen attention. This glass folder is MUCH BETTER! My highest recommendation!

If you like the shape and/or style you see in the photos go for it, but instead of other glass rasps I would go for one of the standard rasps. They are slightly larger and have a comb-like handle. I have 2 flat and one arched that you use for your bows. I like them more than any other type of foot callus remover and have not used the other types since I got the first one.

Doesn't look very good but this file works great! I have used it on both wet and dry skin and am very impressed with how gently and smoothly it cleanses dry skin. I try to keep up with my feet, moisturizing everyday and filing/smoothing every few days, so I can't comment on the effectiveness of these files on really hard calluses or skin that has dried to cracks, but for maintenance purposes this thing is awesome . The curved handle makes this file easy to hold and work with. It also gently rasps my heels. Some files are like cheese graters, but this one is softer. When I was done I simply rinsed the file under warm water and the dead skin that was removed was easily washed away. After that, the file looked brand new. This is my third nanoglass foot file. The grip makes it my favorite so far. The other two fit in the palm of your hand like a computer mouse and were slippery; This grip is much easier to hold (although it's also annoyingly slick). The file interface works surprisingly well.
