Wire tank spool dispenser can be retrofitted. Having used it a number of times since the initial purchase and subsequent use, I would hesitate to purchase another device. First, if the center nut and spring are loose, the wire will rotate too freely and get tangled. Second, wires from different manufacturers have different coil center diameters, and some are actually smaller and won't fit hubs. The only way I've found to fix this problem is to swap the wedges so the coil can be placed. Otherwise, the center of the tube will be deformed and it will not be possible to attach the cap to secure the wire during dispensing.
