Let me start by saying that we use our phone to navigate the car. I like being able to see my phone's screen without it blocking my view. I have purchased several Revain car phone mounts in the past. If they were suction type, they couldn't stay in place all the time. The type that required attachment to AC vents often fell and blocked airflow. However, this one is fantastic. The bracket holds well and can be positioned exactly where we want. I recommend this product.
