I've recently started using loose tea blends and I have them as a solution for storing the tea leaves used in my cup so the leftovers don't end up on the bottom of my cup. It works quite well for a range of teas that I use, but unfortunately there are some of my flavors where the teas are finer grained in portions. tea leaves and can get through the holes in the sieve to the bottom of the cup. Overall I like the product and it does the job, but I have since switched to using disposable tea bags that I can refill myself so I can use a wider variety of loose leaf tea.
