I should have read the reviews

I don't think I would ever buy anything without reading the reviews but I didn't think anything could go wrong with this one so I didn't. Spring. I don't like pieces in tea and that's what I got ๐Ÿ˜ž

Cons
  • Compatibility

Not 100% stainless steel.

Cheap metal and tastes like tin. The mesh may be stainless steel, but the frame and chain are cheap magnetic metal. The magnet easily picked them up on the frame and chain. They gave the brewed tea a terrible metallic taste, and one of them began to rust at the hinge. I sent them back quickly.

  • GOLS certified

  • Makes me nervous

Difficulty using and one broken

First of all I have never used such tea balls before so instructions would be helpful. It took me a while to figure out how to keep that damn ball shut! Then once I was able to close one (not the cinch) I found it a pain to open. I had to cut it open with a knife. One was defective; it doesn't close properly. RESULT: I like when tea drinking takes place in a calm atmosphere when I enjoy it. Having to brew a cup of tea with these tea balls means neither rest nor enjoyment.

Love them in Tea Accessories

I've always used a tea press for loose tea, but with it I don't need to clutter my closet. They can be stored open inside each other and stacked nicely in a drawer or cupboard. Easy to clean and easy to use. I first bought one of these from a local store and got them for about the same price as two here! I liked them so much that I immediately bought 2 sets of 2 so we can take them with us on trips and also leave them at home. In addition, we have the opportunity to offer our guests deliciousโ€ฆ

Better than tea bags

I wasn't sure how often we would use them but they are so handy we use them all the time! We have the ability to have hot water in our water cooler and we love to try different types of loose tea, but sometimes we put tea bags in it for a quick and easy way to have tea whenever we want with those little tea balls . Loose tea seems to offer a stronger flavor that my family enjoys. There is a small latch that keeps the tea ball closed, but we lose some tea (not too much) because the latch doesn't

Does the job but the mesh isn't as fine as I'd like

I've recently started using loose tea blends and I have them as a solution for storing the tea leaves used in my cup so the leftovers don't end up on the bottom of my cup. It works quite well for a range of teas that I use, but unfortunately there are some of my flavors where the teas are finer grained in portions. tea leaves and can get through the holes in the sieve to the bottom of the cup. Overall I like the product and it does the job, but I have since switched to using disposable tea bags

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

I can't destroy enough for these tea coasters to save my life.

I don't know how I would have brewed tea without it. The water tasted good, the leaves were isolated in a net, but I was a bit concerned. A few tiny tiny tiny tiny tea leaves burst from the tea stand. Actually, now that I think about it, it could have been a mistake, or it could have been tea from the past, if I don't wash my cups all the time, sometimes I just rinse them out. Our dishwasher broke last week so I have to wash it by hand which I haven't done since I was a kid. I've really brokenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • High price

A textbook example of bad design that somehow became a product.

It wasn't obvious until I tried it, but you can only fill half of the ball with tea leaves using a spoon. Think about it, this is essentially a hemispherical container with a hemispherical lid. And a lid of any shape that isn't flat is stupid because you can't attach anything to the lid as gravity will cause the leaves to fall off when you try to close the lid. The only way to fill the entire sphere is if you have a large bag of tea leaves. In this case, you can "dip" the open strainer into the

Great for most loose teas

I drink a lot of tea and I really like loose tea. These are a great way to brew loose tea and they strain most tea leaves. Sometimes there are bits that go through those little holes in the strainer and then get into your mouth, but I think it has to do with the size and type of loose tea you're buying. Someone once told me that you can see your future in a cup of tea. Sounds like a crazy proposition to me, but it got me thinking. maybe there is something to it? Is it possible to foresee yourโ€ฆ
