So you'll have to pull them over your shoes although you can leave your shoes on and as you walk around the house you'll automatically clean the floors (not the carpet or carpets) from dirt, dust, etc. And they really work, just like any rag, picking up fine dust and dirt when you run them across a dirty surface. While they don't lift much at all, at the same time you have to make sure you don't slip or fall while walking or sliding (great exercise if you do slip!). They also don't hold much collected debris, so when taking them off you have to be careful not to let any of the debris you just collected fall back onto the floor. I personally think it's a waste of time, effort and money. Out of curiosity I went back to the same places with Swiffer (I also use reusable micro wipes as S-'wipes' can be expensive) and the amount of trash collected was more than I thought. So I'm not impressed, but I understand how and why some people would be impressed.
