I took this because it said "camping" and I thought "I can use a hammer at camp". Then, wearing it on my belt at camp, I realized that I didn't need a hammer at camp :) I used a screwdriver and a bottle opener, but they were already on my US Army knife. I keep it handy at home because it contains a lot of useful tools and then I don't have to run to my tool box to get a screwdriver, hammer, etc. The hammer works great. Used it to drive some nails into the deck railing - worked as expected! The same applies to slotted screwdrivers and Philips. Simply a practical gadget for the laundry room. Pliers are great for crimping etc, but wire cutters aren't very strong. The knife was sharp and did the job. Might consider another to throw in the tool box in the car. Convenient and inexpensive. Makes a fun birthday/Christmas/etc gift for a boyfriend or husband who doesn't need anything. Can do a lot!
