Review on 🔧 Optimized GM Genuine Parts 15-80564 Blower Motor Resistor for Auxiliary Heating and Air Conditioning by Adam Browning

This part was a proper replacement for the rear fan resistor after the rear fan speed control stopped working at the lowest setting (1). WE have a 2005 Yukon XL SLE with manual AC controls. Digitally controlled vehicles seem to require different parts - see FAQ. The hardest part of the repair was fitting the rear quarter panel - it took longer than all of the other parts combined. The part itself was easy to replace/install once the fairing was removed. Cheaper third-party parts are available, but I went with an ACDelco OEM part in the hope that it would avoid future repairs; After all, the original lasted more than 15 years.
