An ideal product for any type of consumer.
The lens for beginners performs its functions at 100%. Slightly clumsy. But this is not reflected in the photo. If you choose good and not the best, to the extent of its versatility, it will delight you. I take it on hikes and trips where it’s a pity to take expensive glasses. There are no problems with alignment. With its pros. Simple, convenient, practical. Works great with CMOS. The trunk does not fall out, and does not roll out. From 16 to 105 all FRs are working. At 16 mm, no vignetting, XA is a rarity due to the wound B + W protective filter. AF never let me down! Its cons: If you do not compare with Z and G, there are not many of them. The edges on f5,6 merge but not fatally, on f8 everything is pulled back to normal.

The lens is a direct rival of the CZ 16-80 / 3.5-4.5, but significantly cheaper. A little soapy at the edges of the frame in almost the entire range of focal lengths, but the center is very good everywhere. Very good for travel zoom.

Pros below:
Wide range of focal lengths.
Good sharpness.
Adequate price.
Some cons:
Manual focus is inconvenient due to the small travel of the ring.
Dark, well, it couldn't be otherwise.
