I had to remove the suction cups as the product didn't stay in place for more than 10 minutes. I had to hot glue the bracket to the hood. The lighting is bright enough. (advertised as good for plants) but lighting really needs to be 10-12 watts more for planted aquariums. Unfortunately, my old factory flashlight is 8 watts larger than this one of the same size.
