Love this light so far. 15 feet is great for my 10 gallon tank. I've only had it for about a week and will update if I run into any problems in the future. The suction power is excellent. I like the color options (pictured above) and also the brightness adjustments. I bought it mainly because I had problems with my plants. I bought another one for my other 10 gallon tank.

I had to remove the suction cups as the product didn't stay in place for more than 10 minutes. I had to hot glue the bracket to the hood. The lighting is bright enough. (advertised as good for plants) but lighting really needs to be 10-12 watts more for planted aquariums. Unfortunately, my old factory flashlight is 8 watts larger than this one of the same size.

I mounted this on the top of a 3.5" shrimp tank to help plant growth. Has good suction power. The light has been on the lid for several months and the light is still firmly in place. It has a timer which is good. However, there are only 3, 6, and 12 hour options. I wish there was an 8 or 9 o'clock option. There are also different lighting settings you can use depending on what your plants need. You can adjust the brightness and color spectrum. In general I am very satisfied.

The suction power of these lights is excellent! I bought a total of 5 different sized aquariums that either had built in lights that stopped working or weren't bright enough. The suction cups on all stayed in place and didn't come loose. The ability to change lighting and water resistance makes them a great and inexpensive alternative to replacing a lens hood or in some cases a lens hood that cannot be replaced so you can keep using the tank! I have 2 of these headlights. First I used silicone to attach it to the lid of my 10 gallon betta tank. Thanks to the suction cups, the light hung under the water surface and the light did not spread throughout the aquarium. By attaching it to the surface of the cover, the light gets slightly higher than the water surface and is better diffused. The Betta hates the light, but the plants are fine. I got this 15 inch bulb to replace a very weak bulb on my 10 gallon bulb. I attached the flashlight to the top of the hood and didn't use the suction cups that came with it. The light has five intensity levels: 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%. I photographed the light at each brightness level to show the difference (I kept all camera settings the same).
