I have to say that I was very nervous about purchasing this product because of the reviews. When it comes to new builds/renovations, however, I'm always skeptical about the ratings of hobby craftsmen. Understanding the complaints led me to the realization of human error in the installation of this faucet. Anyway, I bought this for my spare tub and am impressed. Yes, it's not high German craftsmanship that costs $4-800, it's an $800 look on a tight budget and a well-trained installer who knows how not to over-tighten fittings or twist threads. I would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their toilet on a budget. Just be careful not to overtighten or cross the connectors. The metal is soft and will be very vulnerable or easily damaged if you are rough or in a hurry. It's a great price and you're the only one who knows how much you paid for a premium look. In my photo, I used scrap granite, a rectangular countertop sink, and a polished nickel faucet that I spent less than $200 on a 42" x 23" cabinet.
