Bought to cover an outlet just above my sink works well for this
For some odd reason the person who built my house thought it was a good idea to put the outlet plug IN BEHIND MY FAUCET IMMEDIATELY THE KITCHEN! I always felt it was dangerous and that water could get in. I didn't want to remove everything and add an empty plate (just in case I'm thinking?) so this was a great solution. It seals the actual socket holes from any splashes that might get into them, and I'm a little more comfortable with this odd design choice. It was easy to install in just a few seconds. Remove 2 strips of paper and stick the sticky part on the front panel.
