I ordered this pump to replace my giant little pump that doesn't have a float switch so I can drain and fill my hot tub without worrying about my pump burning out. Set up was very easy and the pump cord was much longer than my little giant's which meant I could get power in a much safer place in the event of a burial. The float protected the pump and I could just turn it off to finish pumping out the small debris. Overall, this is an excellent pump for the price that offers multiple mounting options compared to a basic garden hose option. I highly recommend this if you need an auxiliary pump!
