The only downside to this product is that it was difficult for me to take my arm out so I could use it. Luckily my husband was able to help. For those who have reviewed the product and found that the smartphone is difficult to insert into the slot as it is so close to the suction cup that you have to stretch out your hand. But it's so hard to move you think it might break. Just keep pulling it up until it's fully extended. I believe the manufacturer designed it to reduce the size of the shipping container. I also like the part that houses my smartphone because it's much stronger than products I've used in the past. All you have to do is pull the lever and put your phone in the slot and it will grab and hold you. It definitely works very well.
