Good value for Chicago winter

I bought these gloves as cycling gloves because it was already quite chilly for my son to cycle to school in the morning. The gloves keep you warm and are also water-repellent to a certain extent, but they are not waterproof. They adjust well and you can move the fingers individually properly. I can't yet judge whether these gloves will keep you warm later in sub-zero temperatures, I would rather doubt them because of the material. That has yet to be tried.

Pros

Bought for outdoor football. True to size, worth the money. Excellent quality.

Cons

Cannot provide enough heat at extremely low temperatures.
