I was concerned about the G Pro Wireless double clicking, but after a few weeks of using the G502 I didn't notice the double clicking at all. I ran into another issue where the G502 doesn't read the battery properly and keeps showing "Battery Low". This was happening for the entire first week, so I let the battery fully discharge (so the battery's internal clock would "reset") and the problem hasn't happened since. The manufacturer's packaging is excellent. It comes with a premium braided USB cable, wireless receiver, and hard carrying case for weights. I like the design of this mouse compared to the G Pro Wireless, especially as I have large hands and also use the claw style so it's more comfortable to have a slightly larger mouse to wrap my hands around. Because the mouse is heavier, it moves noticeably slower over surfaces than lighter mice. The Hero's 16,000 DPI sensor is just great, and the extra battery life is huge. It can even be used on glass surfaces with no tracking issues. It even has a scroll wheel mode button (continuous scrolling or standard step up). There are also textured handles on the side. My only concern is that a bit more RGB could have been used for the price and the middle two buttons are weak. The small G logos and the glowing battery indicator are a bit disappointing. The G-Hub software allows you to map any command to any button. There is a database of hundreds of commands to choose from, including basic Windows commands like copy/paste. All in all I would definitely recommend this mouse. In terms of performance and ergonomics, it couldn't be better. A 5-minute charge for 2.5 hours of use is not only amazing, but also a lifesaver for those who often forget to charge their mouse! If you are thinking of cutting the cable and getting rid of your wired mouse, this would be the perfect replacement. It remains to be hoped that the updated G903 will also appear on the assembly line.
