Worth the price! Very happy

It was a very good carrier and excellent value for money. I was pleasantly surprised at how well made and durable it is. The buckles on the shoulder straps/seatbelts were very strong metal and the removable interior floor actually has a thick piece of chipboard inside instead of thin cardboard. This lower section zips up so you can remove the soft plush cover to wash it (a plus!) and inside is a board and piece of foam. The backpack opens at both ends, top and front, which is great if you have a fussy kitty or pup that doesn't like getting in the carrier. One end is mesh, the other isn't. This can be good or bad depending on what you want: your cat/dog is scared and wants to hide and feel safe, or they need to see from the outside because they are afraid of the carrier and feel trapped. Note, however, that this is only on one side. I was impressed by how flat this carrier folds and how easy it is to store away. That's how it's kept in my closet now and it's pretty handy; However, it also has one downside that I found with it, and it's very minor. The brackets for holding the stretcher are at the ends, which open and close with a zip, not in the body of the stretcher. So if you have one end zipped up and the other open for your cat to crawl in, the end will not stay fully open because there is no support there. See attached photo. This can be fixed with some post-sales work, but it only deserves a mention. If both ends are zipped and you have the front or top open, you'll be fine as the supports that keep it upright are in the arc of the ends. I will say that my cat immediately jumped into this carrier and started playing in it. She entered through the front and ends (if left open). She had no problem with it when we zipped it up and had more than enough room inside (she weighs 7.75 pounds). she's not in it anywhere yet, so I'm sure that will change her opinion of him. :) Overall, I highly recommend this carrier. I really liked the color, look and quality of the product. Keep in mind that the ability to fold up for storage is a plus/selling feature, but it also means the supports aren't in the carrying case so the end might look a little wobbly to you and you'll be happy.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Might hurt
