I love these shoes! I am a hiker and walk 4 to 5 miles a day every day. Since buying the New Balance Walkers I've run a few hundred miles, 90% of them on tarmac, and haven't had to take a break. They were very comfortable right out of the box. Only the cushioning took some getting used to. Even when walking on asphalt, it gives the impression of a thick carpet. I was looking for a pair of NB off-road hiking shoes but couldn't find one that was the right size and price. They make my feet happy until there are shoes.
