I've had dozens of size 9 shoes over the years. I ordered these slippers in a size 9 because they said they were true to size. I couldn't even fit a single foot in the size 9 I ordered. I have sent them back and re-ordered a size 10 X-Wide which fits me and will be even more comfortable when I wear it. They have a thick, soft lining. I like the convex pattern on the outsole which is said to provide good traction when walking on slippery gravel roads. They are very light. I plan to use them as walking shoes when hiking.
