I'll start by saying that this thing adequately solved a big problem for me. My van was disabled and I couldn't empty the tanks where it was parked. It looks like a well thought out system. And now the worst. As other reviewers have pointed out, DO NOT trust it to be fully assembled. You will likely end up with a mess. The problematic part for me is the fixture where it attaches to the van as well as where the lid attaches so it doesn't leak when full. This fitting was NOT tightened when I received it, it pulled off me when I tested the unit filled with fresh water. Using the screwdriver on the included clamp quickly solved this problem and I didn't have to spill anything worse than plain water. on yourself. I'm glad I read the reviews and tried it first! The bayonet hook on the same fitting is also defective, it came loose several times when the tanks were set down. Unlike better duct connectors, mine doesn't snap, not with RV or other bayonet connectors I've tried with it. I have to hold on to the handle and make sure that doesn't happen. But if you are careful and follow it like a hawk while filling the tank, it works well.
