This kid is cool. I paired this with Fluval's chunky CO2 diffuser (20g kit). The small stream of water it ejects creates enough turbulence in the Fluval diffuser to very well dissolve the CO2. Takes off the top of the water in my tank well and I have a timer. Just get one. ;) Update: I've now bought a second device and I have to say that these little workhorses are awesome. I left them on for weeks and put timers on them. All I have to do is make great little water collectors. The only thing I would ask Azoo to improve is the internal bezel in the pump. This faceplate has very thin plastic feet that fit into pockets or holes. The legs broke off after a few months of using the builder (on both devices). This is not the end of everything for the device, suffice it to say that it helps improve the design and quality. It would also be great if a design or insert could be developed to prevent Neocaradina shrimp being sucked into the skimmer. The shrimp are unharmed, but they're locked in the block until I get them out. I just disconnect the device, pull out the siphon tool and let them crawl out. Then I plug it back in and no problem. A screen or filter for input helps. This is a ten month update since I bought this unit.
