Night vision is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Dust on the lens makes it impossible to see, and there's no contrast adjustment on the display, making it too bright to use at night. The image quality isn't as good as my other cameras, which have a wider view and better night vision without white IR. Very disappointed in myself for not testing the system before drilling HUGE holes in my truck and tracing all the wiring and ordering 2 more rear cameras as it comes with 2 front facing cameras. I was copying trailers at night trying to widen my field of vision, instead I wasted A LOT of time! I'm not sure how to test IR without installing it. But the whole system is wasted, and I'm replacing it with a system that hasn't failed me through years of abuse. Do your research, stick with a small camera that won't be affected by dust. I probably can't name the system I'm using, but it's not a 4-pin system.
