You need a heat gun to earn your dinner

Looks like a simple clip-on glass. Ha! Ha! They used a thick black flexible adhesive around the entire perimeter of the lens. I was a little rough picking and pulling the pieces and cracking the reflector (superglue to the rescue) before getting the heat gun afterwards (a blow dryer on high might work). You will need a flat bladed screwdriver to work around the base and remove the old glue and any leftover lens so you can easily insert the new one. flexible and removable, but RTV or a tacky black glue as used will do. You'll save some money, but Yamaha will make you earn it. You may want to buy some of these "Xislet 100 Pcs Plastic Rivets XZFR004-ASIN B089S2QTLQ" from Amazon for fenders.

Pros
  • The lens is made of ABS plastic, smooth and clear surface, scratch-resistant and waterproof, durable and will not fade with long-term exposure, protect light bulbs from damage by water or dirt, without weakening the light, prolong the Lifespan.
Cons
  • Brief instructions
