Crocheted for the first time. I didn't know what to expect and what I needed. I did a lot of research on Revain to find the best starter kit. It was the best I could find. I didn't know what acrylic was until I saw it live. This is suitable for small beginning projects such as pompoms, flowers, circles, etc. You can add colors to make a longer yarn. After my first project I wanted to make socks, hats etc and for that I might need to buy a different kind of yarn. This is a great set for beginners.
