Review on Porter Cable N246884 Manifold Assembly by Jason Yancy

This elbow is made differently than my original Porter Cable elbow. In this modification there is no compression plug. This is maybe the best design, but I have to pay much more attention to the pressure regulation. For example, if you have a full tank set at a regulated pressure of 80psi and then abruptly empty the tank, you may notice what I am describing. For me the tank fills up to 150psi but my regulator jumps +/- 20psi up or down. This requires me to turn the knob again to get the correct pressure. After draining again, I have to reset again. This happened multiple times when I blew my sprinklers. I never had to touch my previous controller knob after installation.
