You can read my review of the NGK (6994) IZFR6K-11 Iridium Spark Plug for the 2005 Honda Odyssey. The same comments apply. Most people seem to agree that Honda vehicles work best with NGK spark plugs. These plugs are built to last, keeping your car running smoothly and efficiently for years - six years or more for regular drivers. If you have a Honda, buy NGK iridium plugs. And they may be the best choice for other brands of cars and trucks. I agree with the advice of others to apply dielectric grease to the contact area with the spark plug boot. It protects electrical contacts from corrosion and prevents excessive jacket adhesion, making it easier to replace the plug when the time is right. As with most fat applications, it takes little time. You only need a thin film. Extra is not better. There seems to be some controversy regarding the use of anti-seize agents on spark plug threads. Some fork manufacturers advise against this, as coating their threads is sufficient. I personally like the added protection of an EP lube when applied correctly and very sparingly. Some people use too much anti-seize lubricant and the excess can get into the cylinder and foul the spark plugs and cause problems. I just apply a thin coat and wipe off the excess before installing the connector. And I leave the first few threads of the spark plug clean so there's no chance of pouring anti-seize compound into the cylinder. Remember the smear mantra: a little helps, more is not better.
