I like that the cord is not twisted. This makes it easier to manipulate through or around the object I'm trying to attach the laptop to. What frustrates me is the relative lack of contrast between the numbers on the combination and the metal nearby. I'm having a hard time seeing the numbers clearly when trying to unlock the cable. The task becomes three times more difficult if the location is dark (e.g. the trunk of a car) and I have to shine a light on the lock because the metal causes such a strong light reflection that I can hardly see the numbers. The contrast is definitely not as clear as it appears on the product image in the product listing. While I want the laptop to be secure, I don't want the cable to take 10 minutes to unlock because I can barely see the numbers.
