I have been using this lens for 8 and in the heat, and in the rain, and in the mud, you can't use a polarizing filter with a lens hood installed, for almost all occasions. Pros: - universality; - fast and accurate autofocus; - image stabilizer; - sufficient sharpness; - nice colors, beautiful pattern; - strong and reliable design; - dust and moisture protection. Its cons: - chromatic aberrations; - catches "hares" in the backlight; - absolutely unsuitable for macro photography.
