Wrong correct plug-in thread

Well, it looked good, but on closer inspection it had a slightly different thread that could not be screwed in. I've been lucky enough to change the threads enough to do the job that I didn't buy from the auto parts store. They want 150+ for this little switch but it seems to work for so long
